Job summary

LabCorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Arcadia, CA team. This full-time role involves blood collection via venipuncture/capillary techniques across all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service.

Responsibilities include billing support and travel to other sites as needed. A CA CPT license or equivalent is required, with 1+ year of phlebotomy experience and prior LabCorp experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, with overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or California CPT Phlebotomy license.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience.
• In lieu of state license, an application may meet license requirement at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
