Job summary

Labcorp seeks a dedicated phlebotomist to join our team at the Alamo, CA site. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, document patient data accurately, and handle billing and specimen preparation with precision.

We value bilingual Spanish/English capabilities, excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset to support patients and providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California Phlebotomy license.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
