Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - bilingual – Part Time at our Pompton Lakes, New Jersey location. In this role you will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens for testing, and provide compassionate, patient-focused service in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 11:30am, with alternate Saturdays; occasional travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent phlebotomy certification or training program from an accredited agency.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
