Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a bilingual Phlebotomist to join our team in Kearny, New Jersey. The role involves collecting blood, handling specimens, and providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be bilingual (English/Spanish), have phlebotomy certification, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Typical schedule includes weekdays with occasional Saturdays and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
