Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Clifton, NJ, part-time. Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required to support diverse patients.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, labeling, processing, data entry, and maintaining phlebotomy logs. Three years of phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma are required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and required documentation.
• Complete trainings timely.
