Job summary

CSL Vifor in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking apheresis technicians to support donor pheresis procedures. You will prepare the donor, area and equipment, operate the autopheresis device, monitor the process and safely disconnect the donor when finished.

You will document incidents with the PDA, link equipment to donors, maintain accurate electronic records and a clean, compliant work environment. Cross-training and bilingual abilities may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Experience with PDA data entry and monitoring processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using PDA and link equipment to the donor.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
