Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and process; respond to alarms/signals.
• Disconnect donor after process completion.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff.
• Record incidents using PDA; link equipment to donor.
• Log donor data in electronic management system per SOPs.
• Understand policies for hyperimmune programs where applicable.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies.
• Confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
