Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor pheresis technician in Las Vegas. You will prepare the donor, area, and equipment for pheresis, and ensure the autopheresis machine is ready for use. You will monitor the donor and process, responding to alarms and disconnecting the donor when complete.

You will document incidents using the PDA and maintain donor data per SOPs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 months in a medical/health setting, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions and notifies appropriate staff.
