Job summary

Primary Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker - 340B in Des Moines, IA to support 340B program activities and patient services.

You will assist with financial assistance, 340B data submissions, and patient referrals while providing interpretation for English- and Spanish-speaking patients. This role requires collaboration with pharmacy leadership and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Fluency in spoken English and Spanish required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy-related registrations must be obtained within specified timeframes (see必ilden).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with available financial assistance.
• Collect and submit 340B claim data per manufacturer requirements.
• Track submissions, rejections, and outstanding requirements; coordinate corrections.
• Provide interpretation for non-English speaking patients and staff, in person or by phone.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Director and Compliance & Risk Director on 340B program compliance.
• Translate written documents and brochures as appropriate for patients.
• Advise staff on cultural/ethnic considerations to improve access to resources.
• Answer phones and look up prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Perform checkout duties for prescriptions, adhering to rules and regulations.
• Assist with ordering OTC products and office supplies.
