Primary Health Care Inc in Des Moines, IA, is hiring a Pharmacy Support Worker - 340B. The role provides English/Spanish interpretation, handles 340B claims, and supports financial assistance for patients.

Typical schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, at the main PHC Pharmacy. Responsibilities include accurate interpretation, assisting with enrollment and resources, and collaboration with Pharmacy leadership to ensure program compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fluency in spoken English and Spanish is required.
• Pharmacy Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy must be obtained within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 90 days.
• Mandatory Reporter Training for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with available financial assistance.
• Collect and submit 340B claim data as required by manufacturers to capture 340B savings.
• Track 340B claim submissions, rejected claims, and outstanding requirements; resolve discrepancies.
• Provide interpretation in English and Spanish for patients and staff, in person or by phone.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy leadership on 340B program compliance.
