Job summary

You will liaise with pharmacists, providers, and patients to resolve eligibility and adherence issues, process orders, manage inventory, and ensure compliant documentation in the pharmacy system.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or willing to apply for trainee registration in state of employment.
• Experience in retail, specialty, mail-order, or ambulatory pharmacy preferred.
• Knowledge of prescription processing, insurance billing, and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between patients, pharmacists, providers, clinics and healthcare team.
• Support medication adherence, refill management, and patient outreach.
• Handle prior authorizations and insurance coordination to resolve coverage issues.
• Process prescriptions accurately across mail, fax, electronic, and phone orders.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance and eligibility data.
• Manage inventory, shipping, packing, and delivery coordination.
• Document all communications and pharmacy activities for compliance.
