Job summary

Rightway is hiring a pharmacy technician to serve as the primary contact for members, providers, and pharmacies via phone, chat, and email. You will resolve inquiries on mail order, benefits, formulary coverage, medication cost, and claims adjudication.

You will assist network pharmacies with processing prescription claims and review accuracy against guidelines while supporting clinical pharmacists with patient outreach and program enrollment. Accuracy and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA).
• 1–3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA or PBM contact center.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Ability to multitask across concurrent phone, chat, and email queues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies via phone, chat, and email
• Resolve inquiries regarding mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication cost, and claims adjudication
• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims and reviewing accuracy against guidelines
• Support clinical pharmacists with patient outreach, appointment scheduling, and clinical program enrollment
• Document all interactions accurately within internal systems for compliance and continuity of care
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems to resolve inquiries efficiently
