Job summary

Jobot is seeking a paralegal in Houston with 3+ years of personal injury experience to support attorneys in trials and case prep.

You will organize medical records, draft and e-file motions, and coordinate witness statements while communicating with clients in Spanish and English. A ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred, but substantial experience may be considered.

This role offers growth in a growing firm and requires strong multitasking, detail orientation, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as a paralegal in personal injury.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven experience with litigation support, drafting motions, e-filing, managing medical records, and trial prep.
• Understanding of legal principles, research techniques, and court procedures.
• Proficiency with case management software and related tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
• Managing and organizing medical records and other case documents.
• Drafting and e-filing motions and other legal documents.
• Providing litigation support, including researching legal issues and facts for cases.
• Coordinating and assisting in taking witness statements and depositions.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other professionals in a bilingual capacity (Spanish/English).
• Assisting with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness preparation, trial binders, and coordination with expert witnesses.
