Staffing For Doctors seeks an experienced bilingual Legal Case Manager for our California Personal Injury practice. You will manage the full case lifecycle from opening claims to liens, coordinating medical care, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of dedicated PI case management in a California firm, is bilingual (English/Spanish), and proficient with Filevine. This full-time contractor role follows Pacific Time hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage personal injury files from inception through pre-litigation settlement or transfer, meeting deadlines and maintaining client communication.
• Claims & Property Damage: Open insurance claims, report to carriers, assist with property damage resolution.
• Medical Coordination & Records: Coordinate client medical care, track treatment milestones, manage medical records and billing requests.
• Lien Management: Open and track medical liens with providers, insurers, and lienholders.
• File Maintenance: Keep digital files organized and update client records in case management software.

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Legal Case Manager to support our client's fast-paced California Personal Injury practice. The ideal candidate has at least 2–3 years of direct case management experience within a California personal injury law firm, demonstrating proven expertise in managing the full case lifecycle—from opening claims and managing property damage to coordinating medical treatment, retrieving records, and opening medical liens.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage personal injury files from inception through pre-litigation settlement or transfer, maintaining strict deadlines and client communication.
• Claims & Property Damage: Open insurance claims, report claims to carriers, and assist clients with property damage resolution.
• Medical Coordination & Records: Coordinate ongoing client medical care, track treatment milestones, and manage complete medical records and billing requests.
• Lien Management: Open and track medical liens with healthcare providers, health insurance companies, and statutory lienholders.
• File Maintenance: Maintain organized digital files and update client records within case management software.

Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2–3 years of dedicated experience as a Case Manager (not administrative assistant or receptionist) in a California-based Personal Injury law firm.

Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred; strong English language proficiency required.

Software: Hands-on experience with Filevine is highly preferred.

Time Zone: Ability to work full-time during standard Pacific Time hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST).

Skills: Excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail in high-volume settings.

Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm PST.
