Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a bilingual SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in home health or daytime facilities. Licensure in Texas as an SLPA is required, with at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience and pediatrics exposure.

The role involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, scheduling supervision with a licensed SLP, and contributing to ongoing professional development. Home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
