Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a bilingual SLPA to provide speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. You will work under physician orders and coordinate care with a supervising SLP, scheduling weekly visits as required by the Texas board guidelines.

The role requires Texas SLPA licensure, pediatric experience, and at least six months of full-time clinical exposure; Home Health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure required.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience required.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provide services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining networks, and participating in professional organizations.
