Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks a bilingual English/Spanish SLPA to provide skilled speech therapy in patients' homes or daytime facilities in Texas. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, follow physician orders, and supervise under a licensed SLP as per state guidelines.

The role requires current Texas SLPA licensure, at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience, and pediatrics exposure.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Texas SLPA licensure is required and current.
• Minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience is preferred.
• Home Health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Delivers services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates knowledge via educational opportunities, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Enhances the therapy program by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.
