Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car in Crandall, TX seeks an SLPA to provide skilled speech therapy services in clients' homes or daytime facilities under physician orders. Must be bilingual English/Spanish and hold Texas SLPA licensure, with at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics.

Home health experience is preferred. The role collaborates with the care team, maintains progress notes, and supports care plans with supervision visits as required by the Texas board

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.

• Pediatrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides services in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership of new requests and adding value to accomplishments.
