Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car seeks alicensed SLPA to provide speech therapy services in home or daytime facilities across Texas. You will implement physician-directed interventions and coordinate care with the supervising SLP.

You will schedule regular supervision, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and pursue ongoing education to enhance patient outcomes and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading publications, maintaining networks, and joining professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by owning new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
