Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. The role requires Texas SLPA licensure and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience, with pediatrics and home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Texas SLPA licensure required.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience preferred.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Delivers services in patients' home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates knowledge through education, reading professional publications, and professional involvement.
• Enhances speech therapy services by taking initiative and seeking opportunities to add value.
