North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Plano, TX seeks a bilingual English/Spanish SLPA to provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, following physician orders.

The role requires current Texas SLPA licensure and at least 6 months of pediatric, full-time clinical experience; home health experience is preferred. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) match.

Formación

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time pediatric clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
