Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients and manage check-ins in a pediatric care setting. You will collect payments, provide information, and schedule follow-ups with a focus on friendly, professional service.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English fluency and at least 1 year of medical office experience; remote/telework could be possible between designated offices. Training will cover company procedures and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to learn Pediatric Associates procedures, policies and protocols.

Responsabilités

• Check-in patients, update demographics, insurance information, collect co-pays and balances, and provide consent forms.
• Check out patients, collect balances, provide visit summaries, referral information and follow-up appointments.
• Verify patient insurance and contact patients if insurance is not active.
• Post charges and payments; complete charge and payment reconciliation.
• Scan and upload documents to the Document Management system.
• Sort and deliver mail/documents; maintain a clean waiting area.
• Participate in staff meetings and educational sessions.
