Job summary

Compass Group USA in Lenexa, KS is seeking a full-time Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate payroll processing and data entry. This role works in a temperature-controlled environment with responsibilities including collecting payroll reports, processing cycles (biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly), and auditing payroll for discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of payroll and administrative experience; bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Fast and accurate data entry
• Collect payroll reports from the MyStaff system for processing
• Process payroll on a biweekly, semi-monthly and monthly basis
• Audit payroll to track discrepancies
• Stay current on payroll training and laws
• Follow up on changes with payroll; assist with projects
• Archive information for storage
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Exhibits fast and accurate data entry skills.
• Collects payroll reports from the MyStaff system for processing.
• Processes payroll on a biweekly, semi-monthly and monthly basis.
• Audits payroll to track discrepancies.
• Stays current on all training and laws regarding payroll issues.
• Follows up on changes with payroll; assume responsibility for projects assigned by Payroll Manager.
• Archives information for storage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
