Job summary

Scion Staffing, Inc. has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bilingual Payroll Administrator for a growing construction organization. This is a direct-hire, onsite position in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Bilingual Payroll Administrator will manage high-volume weekly and biweekly payroll across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role requires bilingual Spanish communication and construction payroll experience, with a four-day, 10-hour workweek option after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish communication with hands-on payroll in construction.
• Experience processing high-volume payroll with strict weekly deadlines.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance: overtime, taxes, garnishments, wage orders.
• Experience supporting multi-state/multi-entity payroll; certified payroll a plus.
• Strong HRIS skills; Sage experience; FPC/CPP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume weekly/biweekly payroll; review and enter timecards; validate hours, rates, overtime, and bonuses.
• Review time/attendance for accuracy; manage variable-hour, piece-rate, per-diem, and state rules.
• Support multi-state/multi-entity payroll; taxes, filings, reconciliations, final pay, wage statements.
• Process garnishments, levies, withholding orders, off-cycle checks, and deductions on schedule.
• Support certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting; assist workers’ comp, audits.
• Maintain procedures and docs; support Finance, HR, and Benefits teams.
