Job summary

Salud Para La Gente, Inc. in Watsonville, CA, seeks a dynamic Patient Services Representative to provide responsible, independent patient services coordination in our community clinic office setting.

The PSR interviews patients, collects information for registration, understands funding sources and insurance plans, and works with Lead Medical/Dental staff to manage patient flow and schedules.

Qualifications

• Fluent bilingual Spanish/English.
• Experience in medical office settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and collects information for registration.
• Registers patients and explains clinic policies and services.
• Enters and updates patient data in the practice management system.
• Coordinates patient flow with clinical staff and ensures confidentiality.
• Answers questions about accounts, balances and insurance with empathy.
