Job summary

Family Choice Management Services (FCMS) is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist in Westminster, CA to deliver exceptional support to patients and medical providers within the IPA. You will address inquiries about Medicaid/Medicare benefits, assist with eligibility, and help navigate benefits and care coordination.

You will document interactions in the EHR and CRM systems, escalate complex issues, and collaborate with billing and provider relations teams to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration or business preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls, emails, and communications from patients, addressing inquiries about services, benefits, and claims.
• Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility related to Commercial, Medi-Cal, and Medicare programs.
• Provide guidance on accessing IPA network services, including scheduling appointments and care coordination.
• Resolve patient complaints and issues with empathy, coordinating with billing, provider relations, and care management.
• Assist providers with inquiries on patient eligibility, benefits verification, and claims processing.
