AdventHealth Riverview in Florida is seeking an oriented Admissions/Registration Clerk for a StaffFlex contract. You will greet patients, process check-ins, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals while maintaining accurate records and handling payments. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

The role requires high accuracy, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a day shift. Training provided; rotating Saturdays may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general clerical tasks and patient processing in outpatient settings.
• Ability to greet patients, check-in, schedule appointments, and manage records with confidentiality.
• Experience with MS Office applications and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming, professional first impression.
• Manage patient check-ins and collect necessary information and documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, optimize time slots, and handle multi-line phones.
• Maintain patient records accurately, update information as needed.
• Process payments (co-pays, deductibles) and prepare medical charts for upcoming visits.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications when required.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and distribution of records to appropriate staff.
• Support clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
