Colonial Group is seeking a patient-focused Customer Service Representative to support front desk operations at our Chicago health center. You will pre-register patients and schedule appointments in Epic EMR, verify insurance, answer inquiries, and route calls with professionalism.

Requires a high school diploma, healthcare CS experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and flexible hours. Training onsite for 4–6 weeks at 3450 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60608, 8:30am–5pm, M–F; potential remote work

Qualifications

• Two years’ relevant experience in customer service (health care preferred).
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer calls in a courteous, professional, efficient, and prompt manner.
• Pre-registering new patients into the Epic EMR system
• Schedule patient appointments using the Epic EMR system
• Verify patient insurance/benefits, as appropriate
• Respond to patient inquiries and complaints
• Direct patient phone calls to the appropriate destination when beyond scope
• Complete outbound calls to patients to schedule future appointments
• Return patient calls/messages and provide additional information as necessary
• Adhere to all HIPAA and ACCESS policies regarding patient privacy
• Other duties as assigned
