Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Representative to ensure timely scheduling and serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. You will provide excellent customer service, relay issues to management, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years in patient services, and bilingual Spanish/English. This on-site position offers a market-competitive hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.
• 3+ years experience in patient services, scheduling, registration or customer service in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the front door of Shriners Children’s, informing patients about scheduling needs.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and healthcare knowledge to facilitate scheduling processes.
• Accommodates special requests from internal and external customers.
• Triages calls to appropriate areas following management scripts and guidelines.
• Performs scheduling using multiple software applications and ensures accurate data entry for demographics, insurance, and clinical information.

Skills
