O’Reilly Auto Parts in Massachusetts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers, greet shoppers, look up parts, process transactions, and support store management. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, returns, and addressing customer concerns.

Candidates proficient in automotive parts, with ASE certification, multilingual abilities (Spanish preferred), and strong communication will fit.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Able to multitask with customers in-store and on the phone.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g. Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls per policy and quoting prices.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies and procedures.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform various daily operational tasks including stocking and planogram updates.
• Operate store equipment after training, and perform in-store services as allowed by state law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
