Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Rhode Island is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high level service to retail and installer customers. You will greet customers, help them select merchandise, and support store management with assigned tasks.

This role requires ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences, strong customer service, multitasking, and familiarity with automotive parts. Spanish language skills are highly desired, and ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts cataloging and sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers, assist in merchandise selection.
• Support store management and professional customers as needed.
• Answer calls and lookup parts, quote prices, and offer related items.
• Maintain and secure cash drawer, process payments and returns.
• Address customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with stock, planograms, and image maker tasks.
• Perform daily operational tasks and stock adjustments as needed.
• Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (install wipers, test batteries, etc.).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when required.
