Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management, greet customers, and assist in merchandise selection both in-store and by phone.

Fluency in multiple languages is encouraged, with ASE certification welcomed. The role includes POS transactions, returns processing, and daily store operations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist retail/walk-in customers in selecting merchandise.
• Support managers and installer service specialists for professional customers.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and offer related items and Low-Price Guarantee.
• Handle cash, checks, credit transactions, exchanges, and returns per policy.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, stocking, and stock counts.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) as trained.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
