Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high level service to retail and installer customers and to support store management. The role emphasizes friendly assistance, product recommendations, and handling transactions accurately.

Qualifications

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

Promote customer service programs and assist customers in selecting merchandise.
Greet customers and assist with product selection; support professional customers as needed.
Handle cash, checks, credit cards and returns per policy.
Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices and upsell items.
Perform daily operational tasks such as stocking shelves, planogram updates, and freight receipt.
Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
