O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers while supporting store management with tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and product knowledge will aid in assisting customers with parts selection.

The role includes handling cash, returns, and quotes, plus involvement in daily operations, stock updates, and customer support over the phone and in person.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Promote and follow company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, etc.).
• Assist professional customers and support store management as needed.
• Complete required company training relevant to the position.
• Handle cash drawer, cash/checks, and credit card transactions securely.
• Process exchanges and returns according to policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and stock maintenance.
• Perform daily store operations including stocking, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) as allowed by policy.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
