Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide exceptional service to retail and installer customers. The role supports store management, promotes customer service programs, and handles daily operations including stocking, cash handling, and returns.

Candidates with automotive parts knowledge, ASE certification, and Spanish language skills are encouraged to apply. Training and growth opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Support managers and installers with professional customers.
• Answer store phone calls and quote prices per policy.
• Process exchanges and returns.
• Assist with image maker and planogram updates; stock shelves.
• Perform daily operational tasks and inventory actions.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., wipers, batteries, codes).
• Occasionally drive delivery vehicle when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
