Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Springfield, MO is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high‑level service to retail and installer customers. You’ll greet customers, help select merchandise, and assist professional customers as needed.

You will also process transactions, handle exchanges, and contribute to planogram updates and daily store operations. The role requires strong customer service, multilingual ability (Spanish preferred), and automotive parts knowledge.

Qualifications

• Provide high level service to retail and installer customers.
• Promptly greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete required training relevant to the position.
• Maintain cash drawer and process transactions accurately.
• Address customer complaints professionally.
• Operate store equipment following training and company requirements.
• Support store with stocking, stock counts, and planogram updates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them locate parts.
• Handle exchanges and returns following policy.
• Answer store phone calls and quote prices per policy.
• Secure cash drawer and process payments accurately.
• Assist with image maker and planogram tasks.
• Perform daily operational tasks and stock/trim shelves.
• Conduct in-store services where allowed by law.
