Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers and to support store management. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, especially Spanish speakers.

You will greet customers, assist them in selecting merchandise, process exchanges, handle cash and credit transactions, and provide phone support with accurate part lookups and quotes. The role emphasizes guidance, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle in-store and phone interactions.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Experience with helping customers locate parts and quotes.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Greet customers promptly and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Assist professional customers as needed and directed.
• Provide excellent service to phone customers with part lookups and quotes.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and security of the cash drawer.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and stock tasks.
• Operate store equipment after training and company requirements.
• Perform in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries).
• Drive deliveries when needed and permissible.
