Job summary

UW Credit Union is hiring a part-time bilingual Peak-Time Teller at the Fitchburg branch to deliver front-line member service. You will handle transactions, build rapport, and help meet members’ financial needs with accuracy and enthusiasm.

The role emphasizes problem solving, learning, and teamwork, with opportunities to deepen member relationships and participate in sales referrals. Proficiency in English and another language is valuable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Demonstrates ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills
• Team player that can confidently jump in where and when you are needed
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment

Responsibilities

• Be the face of UW Credit Union by providing front facing member service at the Fitchburg branch location
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge in all UW Credit Union products and services
• Ensure all members requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to UW Credit Union’s Cash Management policies and procedures
• Research all teller transactions when potential errors are identified, and communicate with affected members
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through building rapport, uncovering needs, making recommendations, & submitting referrals
• Consistently seek out opportunities to exceed member expectations
