Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to support wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions. You will resolve customer concerns and help meet store sales goals while keeping product standards and store presentation up to date.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in person and by phone, processing transactions accurately, stocking and tinting products, and maintaining inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams requirements apply for current employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; tint and mix products as needed.
• Assist in deliveries and loading/unloading delivery trucks.
• Monitor in-stock conditions and keep assigned areas presentable.
