Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Derby, KS is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, and present appropriate products and services to drive sales.

You will process transactions, stock shelves, tint and mix products, and maintain displays while striving to exceed monthly and yearly sales goals and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish requested.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: meets expectations rating and completed HR Cloud eLearning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse; tint and mix as needed.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, and clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Stay knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
