Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking Store Associates to support retail and wholesale customers at Store #1754 in Birmingham, MI. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, product knowledge, and helping customers find the right paint and related supplies.

You will handle sales, maintain store presentation, and assist with deliveries as needed. Ideal candidates are 18+, fluent in English and Spanish, with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; maintain inventory control procedures.
• Tint and mix products as needed to customer specifications.
• Assist in deliveries and loading/unloading, as required.
