Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Associate to join our Washington Twp, MI location. You will assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, and help achieve store sales goals.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, processing transactions, and supporting deliveries while maintaining high store standards. Qualifications include 18+, ability to work evenings/weekends, and English/Spanish fluency; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, understand English and Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: meets expectations rating (3) or higher.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: HR Cloud eLearning courses completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone to determine needs and present products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies.
• Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from floor or warehouse and tint/mix as needed.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; maintain store condition.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
