Mitco is seeking a bilingual Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the second shift. The role emphasizes efficiency, safety, and quality while coordinating with team members in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities include leading the production floor, monitoring performance, interpreting technical documents, managing schedules, and training new hires to ensure compliance with procedures and policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with knowledge of procedures.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team on a production line.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and SOPs.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production floor employees throughout the shift, ensuring tasks are assigned clearly and completed in a timely manner.
• Monitor team performance and efficiency, identifying and resolving issues as they arise to mitigate any disruption to operations.
• Interpret and apply technical documents, established procedures, and company policies to guide daily operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage shift schedules and allocation of personnel to ensure appropriate coverage to meet production goals.
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment by communicating expectations clearly and addressing personnel concerns in a timely and consistent manner, regardless of whether employees speak primarily English or Spanish.
• Train new hires, ensuring proficiency and compliance with all relevant procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and report operational status, incidents, and performance targets to management and other relevant personnel.
