Job summary

ERMCO, based in Bristol, WI, seeks a Department Supervisor to lead daily production on three shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across our transformer manufacturing lines. Onsite in Bristol with relocation assistance available.

The role requires bilingual Spanish-English capability, plus strong leadership and communication skills to drive performance, training, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Three years as a Team Lead or equivalent experience.
• Seven years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the distribution transformer industry.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities on the production floor, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Deploy resources with Manufacturing Team Leads to minimize downtime and address production challenges swiftly.
• Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
• Implement housekeeping schedules and champion a safety-first culture; conduct regular audits and safety training.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new employees; conduct interviews and provide coaching.
• Provide input for CapEx budgeting and ensure reports on production, attendance, and waste are submitted on time.
