Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and advance sales for drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and related building materials.

The role involves managing the full sales cycle, generating quotes, pursuing new leads, and identifying upsell opportunities. A bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate with a business or related degree and strong communication skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• College degree in Business, Sales or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Industry knowledge in building materials is preferred.
• Proven business development and strong sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, pass MVR, and insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; strong time-management and organization.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Execute all steps of the sales process with customers and create quotes.
• Pursue leads, develop a sales plan, and target customers.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and perform cold calls.
• Schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and provide solutions.
• Deliver training to customers and their teams on product lines.
• Collect payments and ensure past-due bills are resolved when necessary.
• Gather competitive pricing information and relay to management.

ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.ABC Supply Interiors is looking for a service oriented Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and take its sales to the next level.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsConduct all steps of the sales process with customersCreate and pursue customer leadsCreate a sales plan and target customers accordinglyIdentify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sellMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesDirect the creation of quotes for customersSolicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide to the Sales Manager and/or Branch Manager for appropriate follow-up actionGather competitive market and pricing informationConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessarySpecific qualifications include:Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is requiredCollege degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferredProven experience in business development and strong sales skillsMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time-management and organization skillsPositive, team-oriented attitudeABC Supply Interiors values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
