ABC Supply Interiors is seeking a service-oriented Outside Sales Representative to grow relationships with commercial and residential contractors, manage the full sales cycle, and develop plans to target new customers. The role emphasizes consultative selling, quotes, and timely communication to maximize growth and customer satisfaction.

• Knowledge of product lines and the building contractor process preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and able to pass MVR; vehicle insurance must meet company requirements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; strong time-management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Conduct all steps of the sales process with customers.
• Create and pursue customer leads; develop a sales plan and target customers.
• Identify and execute opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers; follow up on sales leads.
• Schedule appointments with prospective customers and provide solutions for service concerns.
• Direct the creation of quotes for customers; gather feedback for follow-up actions.
• Gather competitive market and pricing information; collect past-due payments when necessary.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30am- 4pmABC Supply Interiors is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.ABC Supply Interiors is looking for a service oriented Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and take its sales to the next level.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsConduct all steps of the sales process with customersCreate and pursue customer leadsCreate a sales plan and target customers accordinglyIdentify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sellMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesDirect the creation of quotes for customersSolicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide to the Sales Manager and/or Branch Manager for appropriate follow-up actionGather competitive market and pricing informationConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessarySpecific qualifications include:College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferredProven experience in business development and strong sales skillsMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time-management and organization skillsPositive, team-oriented attitudeABC Supply Interiors values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
