ABC Supply Interiors is a leading distributor of drywall and related building materials seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and advance sales. You will manage the full sales cycle, create quotes, pursue leads, and identify up-sell opportunities.

A college degree and valid driver's license are preferred, with a strong emphasis on customer service, reliability, and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• College degree (Business, Sales or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Industry knowledge of building materials and contractor processes preferred.
• Proven business development and sales track record.
• Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Lead all steps of the sales process with customers.
• Create and pursue customer leads; develop a sales plan and target customers.
• Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell; make cold calls.
• Draft quotes for customers; train customers on products and services.

ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.ABC Supply Interiors is looking for a service oriented Outside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships and take its sales to the next level.Specific duties may include:Cultivating and managing customer relationshipsConduct all steps of the sales process with customersCreate and pursue customer leadsCreate a sales plan and target customers accordinglyIdentify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sellMaking cold calls to prospective customersFollowing sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customersFollowing up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern ariseProviding training to customers and their teams on various product lines and servicesDirect the creation of quotes for customersSolicit feedback from customers on products and services and provide to the Sales Manager and/or Branch Manager for appropriate follow-up actionGather competitive market and pricing informationConnecting with customers to ensure that past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessarySpecific qualifications include:College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferredProven experience in business development and strong sales skillsMust have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, be able to pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance must meet company’s requirementsExceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorSuperior time-management and organization skillsPositive, team-oriented attitudeABC Supply Interiors values hard work and dedication and rewards its associates with an excellent compensation package.
