Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors seeks a service oriented Outside Sales Representative in Midland, TX to cultivate relationships and advance sales with commercial and residential contractors. You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to quotes and post-sale support.

Requirements include a college degree or equivalent, strong sales skills, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a competitive pay plan with benefits and a focus on up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• College degree (Business, Sales or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in business development and strong sales skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass MVR check and meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; superior time-management and organization skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Conduct all steps of the sales process with customers.
• Create and pursue customer leads; develop a sales plan and target customers.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers.
• Schedule appointments with prospective customers and follow up on leads.
• Provide training to customers and their teams on product lines and services.
• Direct the creation of quotes for customers.
• Solicit feedback from customers for Sales Manager/Branch Manager follow-up.
• Gather competitive market and pricing information; collect past due payments when necessary.
