Job summary

World Wide Farms is seeking a Farm Operations Coordinator to support organic cultivation, post-harvest logistics, and administrative workflows. The role bridges field work with initial data entry under the Head Grower and HR Director, requiring hands-on farm experience and digital literacy.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, able to work in cold storage environments, and pursue the Illinois Pesticide Applicator license.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with data entry, inventory tracking, or basic record keeping.
• Familiarity with post-harvest handling, cold storage, or warehouse logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate operations orders and ensure safety protocols are understood by field crews.
• Receive crops, coordinate transfer to cooler storage, and sort based on daily orders.
• Maintain records of inputs and logs to align with safety standards and regulations.
• Enter daily field data into a computer system and prepare draft inventory transfer sheets.
• Assist in compiling data for USDA organic documentation under supervision.
• Help onboarding of new seasonal staff with digital hiring forms.
• Direct daily operational orders to ensure smooth planting and harvesting workflows.
