Job summary

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Bilingual On-Site Manager for a client warehouse in Terrell, TX. You will serve as the primary contact for temporary employees and support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and daily staffing operations.

The role requires English/Spanish bilingualism, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced on-site environment. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with pay starting at $17 per hour and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to communicate effectively with employees and clients.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in customer service, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard new employees to meet client staffing requirements.
• Coordinate employee assignments, orientations, and onboarding activities.
• Assist with hiring events, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for on-site employees, providing support and answering questions.
• Maintain regular communication with client supervisors and Ascend Staffing branch personnel.
• Address employee performance concerns through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary discussions.
• Walk throughout the warehouse to check on employees and provide on-site support.
• Assist with daily staffing operations, attendance tracking, and employee-related issues.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate weekly reports.
• Help resolve employee and client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support workforce planning and recruiting efforts to maintain staffing levels.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable employment regulations.
